Saturn in Aries – learning to be

Saturn simbol al focului conștient – tranzit astrologic în Berbec, viziune spirituală asupra celor cinci elemente

I write these words from a deeply personal experience. Not as an authority in astrology, but as a seeker who, through his own journey, has begun to recognize the subtle order of the Universe in the language of the planets and the five elements. For me, every transit becomes a key. Every symbol – a living revelation. This is the vision I choose to share with you.

Everything is Consciousness. What we call “planets” is not something external, dull, or impersonal. They are attributes of universal Consciousness – of God the Father. They don’t “influence” us; they manifest in us and through us the elements – the forces through which the Universe breathes, shapes, and educates. Each planet is a living principle. An ordered expression of Creation. And in this order, the five elements – Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether – are the instruments weaving the dance between matter and spirit.

This series of articles is not about astrology as a system of predictions. It is an invitation to see beyond the symbol. A call to rediscover a living science, forgotten by the world but still pulsing in the silence of Consciousness – the science of the elements.

Aries – the beginning of Fire

Aries (Fire 🜂 +) is the beginning. A symbol of primordial fire, it does not bring mere movement, but the conscious impulse of creation. It is the energy that organizes thought into a clear direction.

In yoga, this level of manifestation corresponds to Manomaya kosha – the lower mental body, whose nature is thought (the basis of inner dialogue). Here, Fire seeks to become form. But we do not emerge from the void. We come from Pisces – the deep waters of the unconscious, of dreams, of dissolution. Saturn’s transit through this water sign was a time of floating. Emotions were present, but without structure. We felt, we dreamed, we hesitated. And now, Saturn – the subtle regulator of energy – begins its transit through Aries. With it, Fire is called to order.

Saturn – the hearth of conscious fire

Saturn does not extinguish. From a certain perspective, it could be said that Saturn contains. It is the hearth in which Fire can burn without consuming. It is the voice of the divine Father setting limits not to suppress, but to guide. Saturn symbolizes the law of cosmic harmony, through which we learn to no longer act blindly, but to become aware of our own manifestations.

What does this transit truly mean? It means stepping out of dreaming and into concrete, conscious action. It means no longer wasting energy on directionless impulses, but gathering ourselves and focusing our will on a clearly defined purpose that echoes in the heart. To understand that to act is not merely to respond to stimuli or to chase desires, but to become co-creators – with every choice, with every step.

This is a time for the “maturing” of Fire – a moment to sincerely ask ourselves: do my actions truly have direction and conscious purpose? Or am I acting compulsively, driven by desire, fear, or impatience?

To be – beyond impulse

Aries is the sign of “to be” – the first impulse of Existence. But what does it truly mean to be, if we haven’t first become conscious of our own manifestation?

In the science of the elements, Fire is symbolized by an upward-pointing triangle – the symbol of aspiration, of the transforming ascent. Yet we must remember that this ascent begins at the base. The base of the triangle suggests duality – yin and yang, passive and active, feminine and masculine – the fragmented, instinctual, conflicted energy that demands to be integrated and balanced. In this context, Saturn becomes the catalyst of the individuation process – the force that initiates the shift from dispersion to unity, from reaction to presence, not through rigid control, but through clarity, rhythm, and inner discernment.

Amitābha – lord of the element of Fire

In the Tibetan Kalachakra tradition, fire is not just a symbol of will or action, but also of the burning desires that keep us imprisoned in the cycle of reactions. It is the fire of passion, of unrest, of the “I want” that knows no peace. Yet this same fire, when purified, becomes conscious light.

The transformation of this fire is embodied by Amitābha – the Buddha of Infinite Light. He does not destroy desire, but transcends and transmutes it into compassion, lucidity, and inner clarity. Fire no longer burns chaotically – it radiates. It becomes a guiding light of consciousness.

To me, Amitābha is not just a religious image – he represents the real possibility of refining our desires to their purest essence, until aspiration is no longer about acquiring, but about offering, illuminating, and being fully present. It is a profound reversal: from desire to aspiration; from compulsive intensity to sacred fire; from confusion to radiant clarity. Just as a focused breath gathers scattered winds, so too does true aspiration gather fragmented energies and channels them toward the center – toward the Self.

Saturn in Aries – the time of the conscious flame

In this light, I feel that Saturn in Aries (for the next ~3 years) marks a time of mature aspiration – that inner moment when fire can no longer be left to burn however it wants. It must become a conscious flame, not an untamed torch. To me, it is the secret call of God the Father to leave behind impulse, reaction, and dissipation – and to ignite from within, with clarity, serenity, and meaning. Only conscious fire can become a divine instrument of creation. Otherwise, it remains a force that consumes us from within, burning us through unawareness.

Conclusion

This is just the beginning. In the coming articles, I will continue opening the gate to this forgotten science of the elements – a science that not only informs but transforms.

We will learn to recognize the planets not as distant celestial entities, but as manifestations of God the Father within us – living expressions of a Consciousness we are part of. And the essential question remains: can I truly say “I am”? Or am I still acting blindly, from instinct, desire, or fear?

To me, this is the Saturnian exercise in Aries: to master the fire, to purify it, and to consecrate it to a direction that unites me with the Self, with the center, with Pure Being.

I invite you to walk further. Step by step, reclaiming the art of being – in the rhythm of the five elements.
